Breakfast Room | Reading MA

In this large home, the Breakfast Room is the place where the family gathers to eat casual meals by the fire. The owner's family heirloom farm table was the inspiration for the rooms space plan, color palette and decor.  The fireplace surround is river rock, which was carefully selected to coordinate with the client's treasured art piece above the mantel.

In this complete renovation project, every surface and furnishing was changed to better reflect the clients' taste and lifestyle.  The wall colors were selected based on the new stacked stone fireplace surround we selected, and the new furnishings.

New Construction Porch | Windham NH

This new construction 3 season porch required a detailed project plan to accomplish a beautiful result that is completely "washable" and weather resistant, including the white Azek flooring, vinyl beadboard siding and ceiling, the pillow fabrics, cushions, and even the lampshades.

Dining Room Accessorizing | Amherst NH

Accessorizing tabletops can bring polish and a finished feel to a space.  Most of us have all we need to style a tabletop and make it not only beautiful, but functional.  I was thrilled to find these family heirloom dishes and silver pieces to work with in my client's home.  Adding height and organic materials is all it took to bring this sideboard from empty and stark, to functional and beautiful.  Life is too short to keep our favorite pieces in a cabinet until company comes for dinner.

Finding just the right furnishings for a space takes time and a solid plan.  The limited space in this small waiting area required locating furnishings, lighting and art in a specific size, style and color scheme.  This small reception area in a woman-centered non profit business, needed to feel welcoming, cheerful and comfortable.  The chairs were selected to coordinate with the business' signature logo color, teal.
